In 1999, Recognos US was born. A year later our Romanian partner, Romeo Macaria joined our team to create Recognos Romania. Recognos is comprised of enthusiastic individuals. We pride ourselves on the efficiency of our global teamwork between the U.S and Romania, and consider our outsourcing capabilities to be a advantage within the market. Both teams united, we are confident that having US marketing knowledge and Romanian technical talent creates a powerful and successful software house in our industry. Through time, we have learned, that in order to be successful one needs to create interesting products and we keep this as of our highest expectations.

One of our elements to achieve creativity has to do with having two countries working in sync. We consider this “Beneficial Outsourcing” as opposed to other forms where the motivation behind teaming up with another country can be to maximize profit margins. At Recognos we encourage our team members abroad to have quality of life and spur innovation. Our company philosophy is that traditional outsourcing—which can take advantage of lesser developed countries—can never succeed long-term for many reasons; one of them being that employees who are unhappy or bored will simply become disinterested and the company’s work will reflect this. We believe that for true success in business everyone should be enthusiastic and interested in what they do.
