Partners

Recognos believes in the power of partnering with other entities in order to use each entities strength in complex system development.  In its 11 years of existence Recognos has created some great partnerships that have became an organic part of the Recognos business:

  • In 2000 Recognos Romania SRL was born.  ReRo, as it is called in our slang, is the main development center for Recognos.
  • In 2003 National Directory Information Services, LLC was born as a partnership between Recognos and the team lead by Richard Weerts in Orinda, California.  The result of this partnership is a company that offers web services related to directory assistance for the US, Canada and Puerto Rico as well Interactive Voice Solutions for customers in the United States and Europe.
  • In 2009 Recognos partnered with a team of experts from XCITEK (a company aquired by IDC) to create Recognos Financial, LLC in order to jointly develop services in the financial data space using semantic technologies.
  • In 2008 Recognos entered a strategic partnership through Recognos Financial with Metatomix, a leader in semantic platform development.  Recognos uses the Metatomix semantic platform in the semantic systems development.
  • In 2009 Recognos entered another partnership through Recognos Financial with Expert System, one of the leading companies providing semantic natural language processing tools.
