  • An interesting article about how hedge funds are using twitter to catch investment hints
  • The International Press Telecommunications Council (IPTC) debuted an early draft of their latest standard: rNews [2]. rNews allows web publishers to embed publishing metadata directly into HTML documents using RDFa.   By making important publishing metadata easily available, the IPTC believes that rNews has the potential to transform the relationship between online publishers and the search, social, aggregation and advertising ecosystem.   • The www.semweb.com organized a webinar related to the applications of the Semantic WEB in Financial Services and Investments. Drew Warren from Recognos Financial and Brian Bell from Expert Systems had a very interesting presentation that was recorded and can be viewed by clicking here
